The next morning, Suzu tells her husband that her son, Tetsu, has been captured by the Misato clan and is being held at the train station. She tells him that she has come to retrieve him, but that she does not know the details of what has happened. Tetsu has been depressed about what he has done to his father, and Suzu says that he is both stupid and bald. She says that she is sorry about what she has done, and that she did not want to put the girl through any more suffering than she already suffered. She asks him if he is in love with the girl, and he says he is, but he is not sure if she will ever wake up from her sleep. He tells her that he does not believe that she cares about him, as he has quit his job in order to help his mother. He also says that his father cares for his mother, ryo san, and his son too. He says that tetsu wants to help because he cares about his father and his family too.
