In this short scene, Deo and his sister, aletta, finally get to speak to each other. Deo is so happy to finally be alone with his sister that he indulges in a little fantasy. He tells her that he's been waiting for her all night and that she's the missing girl. He asks her if she'd like to go to the movies with him. She says yes, and he promises to keep playing with her and never leave her alone. She asks him if he wants to go play ball with some friends. He says yes. He promises to play with her again the next time he sees her. She's so sorry that she lied about being alone with him, and she promises to tell him the truth. She tells him that today isn't a good time to be alone. He apologizes and says he'll be playing with someone else tomorrow. He grabs her by the throat and tells her to play on her own.
