In this chapter, we find out that the "genderuwo" has turned out to be a giant demon, and that its head is intact. We learn that this is the same genderuwo that we saw in the previous chapter, but this time it's even bigger. We're also told that there are still many more missions to be done, so this is a good time to check in on what's going on with the group. The guy is bummed that his physics assignment is due the next day, so he's off to find the giant demon. He's also bummed that he has to clean up after the big dude, who's supposed to be hunting for the monster. The kid is psyched to be back in school, but he can't wait to get back to work. He asks the kid to rustle up some snacks for him, but the kid doesn't want to tell him that he dropped the giant monster's body on the road. He tells the kid that he needs the money to buy a new notebook, and the kid says that he tried looking for the notebook everywhere, but no one sells it. He also says that the girl is weak against sunlight, and he hopes that she'll be okay for the night, or else he'll have to take her to the doctor the next morning to have her memory wiped clean.
