Now that the guys are lost, they can't find a way to get back to the road they came from. They have no idea where they're supposed to go, and they've been flirting with a girl who doesn't have anything to do with them. They're not even in the country yet, so they'll have to figure out how to get out of this sticky situation. The guy who's supposed to be flirting with the girl is all, "dude, I don't care if you flirt with me, I'm not in your country right now" . The dude who flirts with her is all "hey, you guys can have a fight, but just leave me out" , and he's totally right. He's not even going to be surprised if they run into a statue of the fox god, because he'll be cursed by the god for all he cares. The guys are all like, "oh, we're just going to eat a little bit of a persimmon . . and then we'll go back to where we came from." They'll just have to wait for the statue to hold them, and then they can just run off to the main road and find their way back to their starting point. They can just go back and apologize to the guy who was flirting with them , but they won't be able to do that since the guy they were flirting with isn't even in their country yet. They should just run into the guy guarding the statue and tell him they were just stealing livestock from the farmers , since the guys aren't that famous for being "sneakers" or "snatchers." The guy is like, dude, you're going to have to apologize, but it'll still be better than running into a guy guarding a statue.
