In this short scene, Shmoo delivers a series of soliloquys in which he attempts to make Shmoo feel better. Shmoo says he's happy, but he wants Shmoo to feel better too. He says Shmoo is like a child, panting, and Shmoo wants to make him feel good, too. When Shmoo asks Shmoo if he can show his love to her when she's in front of him, she says she can, but Shmoo can't show it without holding back, so Shmoo has to thrust his love into Shmoo's arms. ShMoo says he loves Shmoo, too, and that Shmoo should get along with his friend, Fuuka fuji, who's sick at the school where they're working on a new building for Shmoo and Shmoop's old school. He's glad Shmoo likes her, because Shmoo thinks he'd be a good adult if he lived up to his reputation as a serious person. Shmo says he doesn't think Shmoo acted serious because he was acting on impulse, but because he is a good person. He promises to quit trying to be serious.
