In this short scene, we get a glimpse of what it's like to be the girl in love with a boss. We learn that she's happy to be working extra hours because she'll be able to "gringle" her way to the top of the boss's social totem pole. We also learn that he's looking at her suspiciously, and that he doesn't seem to want to be alone with her anymore. He's still staring at her, and she tells him that she can fix it by the end of the day. He promises to take her out for dinner, and then he'll take her to the theater for a play. We're not sure what this means, but it sounds like they're going to be having dinner together. We don't know what to make of this, but we're guessing that it means that they've been having sex all along, which is why they haven't been able to get along in the past.
