The chapter opens with a flashback to Chapter One, in which we learn that we are now introduced to a young woman named Akira, who is in love with a man named Kiichirou. Akira is a client of Akira's, and she has sent Akira a series of "refreshments" to refresh her memory of the events of the previous chapter. When Akira asks what has happened, Akira tells her that she has fallen in love and that she must return to her job as a maid. She tells Akira that she will be returning to her home country early in the morning, and Akira promises to pick her up and take her home.
