In this chapter, we learn that Hiroshi's score has gone down by fifty points and that he's now just a "dried-up old man" . He's been working so hard that he hasn't been able to keep up with the pace of the game. Hiroshi, however, is still able to maintain a high level of performance because he always has the "bonus" of being able to stay on top of things. When Hiroshi asks him how many points he has, Hiroshi replies that he doesn't know, but that he is going home to get some sleep. When he wakes up, he finds himself in the middle of a conference call. He asks Hiroshi if anything is up, and Hiroshi tells him that he should give him a call if something comes up. He then asks if he should get Hiroshi as an employee, and when Hiroshi says that it would be nice to have him, he says that he didn't expect to finish this early, but he'll be able to get things done if he puts his mind to it
