In this short scene, the young narrator tries to flirt with an older man at a cafe. The older man, who is clearly not in love with the young man, tries to make small talk, but the narrator refuses to listen. He tells the older man that he will not let him "make flinch" if he does not "line up by his self" . The old man, however, is not intimidated by the warning, and the two begin to flirt.
