In this short scene, Cai Ling tells us that she still loves him and that she thinks of him all the time. Cai Ling says that the god of destruction used his power to compress Cai Ling's soul back into his body. He says that if Cai Ling really wanted to leave this world, then she would not exist in it either. He feels sorry for Cai Ling and says that he's still alive because of the power of the goddess of life. He also says that Cai Ling can't really fight the god anymore because he didn't want to leave them all alone again. He's sorry that they're leaving. He tells his father-in-law that something is about to happen and that it's his mother who's going to give birth to the baby.
