In this short scene, Shmoop returns to the school's lost-and-found office and demands that the detective return the missing switch. The detective refuses, saying that he cannot tell anyone that he lost the switch. Shmilow, however, begs the detective not to tell anyone about the disappearance of the switch, because he is afraid that they will all die together. The boy, who has lost his way in the labyrinth of hallways at the school, finally manages to find the switch in his pocket. He tells the detective that he will not be fooled, and the detective agrees to return the switch to him.
