About This Chapter
"The Flower Shop Prince has the flower shop Prince has thorns" , the narrator tells us in the opening lines of this chapter. The narrator apologizes for his rudeness in the beginning of the chapter, and he apologizes again in the middle of the scene. This time, however, he's not apologizing for anything. He's apologizing for the fact that he still doesn't care about people. He says that even if he were in love with someone, he wouldn't be able to trust them. He tells the narrator that he just showed him who he is because he asked him to teach him . It's just to make people hate him. He goes on to say that it's his first time telling him this, and that it was just so he could make them hate him, even though he didn't mean it. He leaves, and the narrator is soaked to talk. He asks the narrator to come in to his house, but the narrator won't let him in. Instead, he tells him to go ahead and wash his clothes in the washrooms on the opposite side of the room. He thanks the narrator for taking good care of his clothes.
