The Flower Shop Prince has a message for Roxane: if she refuses to participate in a flower festival, he will not be able to visit her. He will be away from home for a month, and he and Roxane will not get to see each other during that time. Roxane, however, is determined to make the best of the situation. She asks Roxane to kiss her on the lips one last time.
