About This Chapter
In this short scene, the shop owner, hagiya, is trying to get her attention. She wants to know how to get him to come out of his hiding place so she can tell him what she's feeling. She's afraid that he won't listen to her, and she wants him to leave her alone. Worried that he's leaving her alone, she begs him to keep his attention focused on her. He tells her not to worry about anything and to wait for him. Confused, she asks him if he plans to keep doing this for the rest of the month, and he says he'll keep it to himself. She wonders what happens when he leaves, and wonders if she'll be able to catch a glimpse of him at the shop again. The shop owner tells her that he made a cute necklace for his daughter, and that he wanted to ask her if she knew where it came from. She tells him that she picked it up from the shop and made it herself, but that she couldn't order it from him because she was just an amateur. Intrigued, he asks her if he could order one from her, but she says she'd be an amateur, so he doesn't have any right to order it. He asks her again if he can think of anything else to do, and finally she says that she can't stop thinking about him.
