It's been a year since the narrator has had sex, and he's not sure he'll ever get pregnant. He's worried that he and Tomodamoka have been living together too long, and that they're getting married. He decides to break things off, and says that he'd rather be his housekeeper than his partner. He doesn't know where to go, but he can't imagine Tomodahima trying to stop him. The narrator is bummed that she's going to have to move out of her house, but she'll have to find a place to live. She's also worried that she won't be able to have sex with him, since they've been cohabiting for so long. She decides to use the study to get some sleep, and use the bedroom to get ready for her new life.
