In this short scene, Leville tells Rogers that he has come to the store because he wants to talk to him about his relationship with Rosa. He also wants Rogers to stop harassing Rosa and to stop stalking her. He says that Rosa has told him that he should stop bothering her and that he wants him to move on with his life. Leville says that he was never serious with Rogers and that Rosa must have forced him to do so because he "cherished" her so much. He is sure that things would have turned out differently if Rosa hadn't forced Leville to marry Rosa.
