The next day, Hirokazu asks Mina to come see him. He's feeling better, but he still wants to know what's going on. Mina tells him that she's sorry that she didn't get to see him the last time they met, but she wants to tell him something important. She says that her ex-boyfriend, who's now living in Tokyo with her, isn't her brother, and that they haven't been seeing each other for a while. Mina admits that she should have told him sooner, but that it's been hard for her to bring up the subject. She doesn't know what to say, she says, because he's so angry and sad that she can't even raise her voice. She apologizes for being late, and says that she wants him to pack up his things and move into her new apartment with her. She's not going to let her lover live in the same house as another man.
