The next morning, Mina wakes up to find that her brother, Fang, and her vampire lover, Lu, have run off together. Mina is worried about her brother's safety, but she is also worried about the safety of her own brother, who has been injured in the fight between Fang and her brother. She tells her sister-in-law to stay with her, and then leaves.
