In this chapter, we learn that the four stars have been located, and that the vampire gang is on their way to get the fifth star. We learn that feng yita is here to protect her, and she promises to leave her alone if necessary. The next day, there is a cherry blossom festival at the university, and the exchange students have gone to a party, and have not returned. When the inspector asks to make some noodles for her, she tells him that she is hungry, but that she will go after she finishes eating, otherwise she will pester the inspector. She tells the inspector that she remembers that he is also a vampire, and tells him to hurry up and eat. She also tells him about her childhood, when she used to watch her mother cook dinner for her and her brother. When she was young, her mother used to share the blood of the hungry vampires with her father, but those vampires were against her mother and eventually killed her. She asks the inspector if he will like her, but the inspector says that he has no courage to tell her, because he does not know if her brother would like her.
