This is a locked chapterChapter 78: Why Not Just Drink the Lava Since Phoenix Has to Consume Fire Elements to Power Up?
About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a soliloquy by the swordsman. He tells the audience that they need to investigate the motives of the fourth prince. He says that the prince has not been able to summon the demon-god because he has not found any of the scriptures. The swordsman says that he will talk to the village patriarch about his transfer. He also says that if he wants to enter the royal family he will need to pass an arbitrator exam. He wants to stay in the village for a while so that he can pass the exam and then he will go to the royal palace. He then tells the villagers to come out and pet the silver wolf. The wolf is a master swordsman-level beast. The fire element in the beast's magic core should not be wasted. He explains that the fire is really strong and that they don't want to get themselves scorched by the fire. He goes on to say that he has gained a lot of weight since he has seen the phoenix god. He adds that he cannot stand on his shoulder anymore since he is gaining so much weight. He asks the villagers why they are worried about the magical beasts attacking their village. They need to let the beast go. He continues that the alchemist is still fighting inside of the beast. He claims that the entire area is filled with magma. The alchemist says that they should take accountability for having seen the beast in the first place. He is also worried about his beloved disciple. He wonders how the alchemist managed to get into the exam arena. He knows that he is still alive. He apologizes for making the villagers worry, but he has come back safely.
