About This Chapter
In this chapter, the young protagonist, named leng mo, tells his story. When he was a young boy, a huge meteor struck the earth. The military tried to destroy it, but one of the meteor pieces hit him. He was in a coma until he woke up the other day. He wonders if his brain has been damaged. He has been hearing people calling him over the past two days, and he wonders if it is a side effect of his coma. He also wonders if he is turning into an ordinary person. He tells us that he has to buy ten books to solve all the problems in the book. He says that even if he were a genius, he would not be able to fight against the seven great academies because he has been surrounded by so many of them. If he goes around and uses guerrilla tactics, he will be held hostage by the seven academies. This is bad, he says, because if he uses the guerrilla tactics they will hold him as hostage. He knows that he must kill the person who is controlling him, because he knows that the person is powerful. He mocks the idea of killing the person, saying that he knows how to do it. He thinks that he is the only one who knows the shadow clone. He asks if he really is just a student. It is not too late, he tells us, to kneel down, beg for mercy, otherwise he will not go anywhere
