In this chapter, we learn that Lin-memes was invited to fight the old man, the Grand Old Father. The old man was impressed by the young man's fighting skills, but he was not impressed with the strength of the axe, which was heavier than the other weapons. The elder Grand Father was not pleased with the fight, and he was even more impressed when he saw that the younger man had been practicing the fighting moves thousands of times a day. The Grand Father, however, was not satisfied with the performance of his grandson. He was shocked to see that the elder man was so strong, and that he was able to create a "swish swish swish" of aura, which he thought was a "delusion." The elder grand father was also shocked to learn that the child was not as strong as he thought he was. The young man was sorry to apologize to the Grand Father for his performance, and the elder grand Father agreed to take the child as his apprentice of forging. He explained that forging was the "war and war was forging," and that all weapons were forged with a hammer. The younger man was also impressed by his grandfather's knowledge of the art of forging, and so he decided to replace the old axe with a new one, which had seven moves in which it had seven different styles, making a total of 49 variations.
