In this short scene, we are introduced to two of the characters from the previous chapter. The first is a young woman who is in love with a man. The second is a man who works for the same company as the young woman. The young woman tells the man that she loves him, and the man tells her that he loves her too, but that he does not want her to marry him because she is too young. He tells the woman that he will marry her if she will marry him. She agrees, and they part ways.
