In this chapter, we learn that Higashima Chi and Mr. Shino have fallen in love with each other, and that Mr. Shimouchi is jealous of their love for each other. The two of them go out for a date, but they run into each other in a crowded restaurant, and they are unable to make it to each other's company. They decide to meet up at a different part of town.
