The narrator arrives at the hotel and asks to be taken to the theater so that he can watch "The Spy Who Came in from the Cold" with his friend. He wants to know how long the girl has been waiting for him to arrive. The narrator tells her that he's waiting for her because she's been watching a spy movie with another man. He tells her not to be angry with him and to kiss him gently. He also tells her to pull out of the room and apologize. He doesn't blame her either. He says he'll pay attention to her next time. He promises that he won't be jealous of her anymore. He'll just leave her alone.
