The scene opens with a young man who has come to apologize to the older man. The man asks the young man if he is okay. The young man replies that he is, and the man asks if he has pushed him again. He then asks if she has done anything wrong, and she replies that she has not. She then asks him if he wants to continue with the show, and he says that he does not want to, because he is afraid of the injuries he has sustained. He tells her that he has not yet been punished for his actions, and that he will be more "gentler" in the future. He says that the man has not even paid him for the show yet, and asks if the man is scared of anyone, except for the man's father, who is in the audience. The younger man tells the man that the dog has scratched him and that the woman who cut the fur off of his head with scissors has also scratched him. He asks the man to take his artist to the hospital, and if it is not enough, he will pay for the treatment and medicine
