This chapter opens with chengdong's servant sitting next to ruby. Unsure of what's going on, the servant asks if there's anything he can do to help. The servant says that they're just there to capture the monster, not to go on a field trip. He says that the rest of the men are too spoiled to do this kind of work, and that's why they hate each other so much. . He goes on to say that he'll go practice his sword-fighting skills in the wilderness. He's worried about getting injured in battle, and he wants to get his war-god certification so he can be a part of the battle team. He also wants to practice his fighting skills, but he doesn't know how to do it. He just wants to go for a walk.
