In this chapter, we find out that Lucile is now a woman again. She's worried that she's going to have to tell her parents all about it. Lucile runs off to find the nurse, who's been looking for her at the nursing station. She can't figure out why Lucile's heart is still beating at a steady rate even though it's weak. She asks the nurse if he's okay, and the nurse says he is, and Lucile says she'll be okay after taking medicine. She goes on to explain that there's a lot going on in her life, and that she has to go to her mother's house every day. She tells the nurse that she doesn't know how to read the monitor, so she'd better just run off and find her mum. The nurse tells Lucile that the nurse is fine, but he'll have to take some medicine to get his heart back on track. She runs off and finds the nurse at the station, who asks if Lucile needs her help.
