Jack says he's not sure if he can escape, but he'll try anyway. He tells Alice that she can't enjoy the moon any more than she can enjoy herself, and she tells him that she's hungry. She tells Jack to embrace her in the basement and save her, because she'll kill him if anything happens to her.
