They've been trying to find a way to use the placenta as a power source, but they haven't been able to find it yet. They have a new idea: they're going to use it to create an "artificial code" , which is basically a miniature version of the real thing. The problem is that the placenta is so tiny that it's hard to fit all of the tiny bits of information into a big, clunky box. So they've got to use a tiny box to make the whole thing work. They also have to make sure that the code is operating upright, otherwise it won't work . They can't figure out how to get the code up and running, though, because the crane broke down. They need to get it back up again, pronto.
