It turns out that a mermaid once gave a man a special cloth that he could use to transform her tail into legs. The man, who happens to be the owner of a voodoo shop in a small town in the middle of nowhere, asks the man why he chose to set up shop on the moon dust island two years ago. He tells the man that his life changes when he's living in a big city like New York and that the people there raise him up to heaven or bring him down to hell. When the man tells him that his father has sent him a "shell" , the man says that he'll be fine. He leaves, and the man asks if he remembers where he hid the tear box. The narrator says he can't remember where he left it, but he knows that it's there. He says that once he finds the box, he will restore it to its original state.
