In this chapter, the ghost of Miharu tells the story of her abduction and murder. Miharu's abduction was prompted by the fact that her friend, the monster, had given her a warm meal. The ghost believes that the monster is a monster, but Miharu is not at fault. She did not do anything wrong, and she is not responsible for the murder. She tells the ghost that the murder took place on the 12 th of October, and that the security image was taken at that time. The only thing that Miharu could have done would have been to leave a list of her names in the house, so that the police would know where to find her.
