In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, an angel named bracchi, who has just returned from the underworld. We learn that he is a male, and that he was once a powerful god, but that he has fallen into a state of madness because he cannot let go of his love for bracchi. He promises to give his soul to the emperor so that he can return.
