Le Bret wakes up in the room where he would have been dismembered and beheaded by Lingbo. He tells Le Bret that, during the encounter with Lingbo, he killed him, but also beheaded him. Le Bret tells him that he will transform him into a divinity and make him forget all about his unpleasant past. He says that he has always loved Lingbo and that he would do anything for him, even kill him. Lingbo is overwhelmed with emotion, and Le Bret is sure that he is in love with him. He asks Le Bret to lay his hands on his skin.
