This chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which we learn that the previous owner of Mego's body was blinded by a man named Bosacchi. Bosacchi was the one who blinded Mego, and it was he who blinded him. The flashback shows that Bosacchi is now the new owner of the body, and that the body belongs to Mego. This is the first time that he has ever been humiliated by anyone, and he vows to make everyone suffer.
