About This Chapter
In this chapter, Hirohito and Ao-Kun discuss the events of the previous night. Ao says that he was struck by the monster in the dream, and that he ran away from the monster. He tells Ao that he is the one who struck him first, and he asks if he ran into the monster and the other people in his dream. The girl says that she was everything to the monster's people, and she wants to go home, but Ao tells her to go back to her dream. She tells him that she thinks everyone will come to the mountain, too, and they should all leave to find her. She also tells him to thank the monster for being so kind, because she thinks it was a dream, not a real one. Aono says that Hiroto is a student in high school. She asks if she can touch her, and the girl replies that she is an "unfortu" nate girl. She goes on to say that the monster is Hiroto's friend, but she doesn't know if he is alive or not. She then asks where Hiroto has gone, and Hiroto tells her that he has gone away. She apologizes for making her angry, and says she wanted her to notice what she was thinking on her own, without her telling her why. She says she wants her to know what a selfish kid would want, so she will send her a screen cap later. Hiroto says that everyone should leave the mountain. A lot of people are on the mountain path, including Hiroto, who is supposed to go to the hospital.
