The next morning, Hiroto and San meet up with Yonukubi and tell him that they've seen the ghost of Watase. They're not sure if he'll be able to talk to them, but they're confident that he's safe. They all go to check on what's going on with the ghost, and they realize that it's Hiroto's turn to be the one to talk. He's the only one who can talk to the ghost. He wants to help break the curse, but he can't figure out how to do it. He asks fujimoto if he can go talk to Yuina, and she says she'll come with him. She's been worried about him all this time, but she doesn't seem to be scared of him.
