The chapter opens with a flashback to a time in ancient Japan when officials would curse people and tell fortunes. The narrator tells us that the government officials used to be called shiki-gami because they could curse people. They used to use this to protect people and save people. The ghost of Sota was supposed to be the one who took Hiroto away, but he's not telling them what happened. Sota asks if the ghost is the real one, and the ghost won't give them any details. Everyone is confused. They're supposed to stick together, but they're not sure how to do it. They need to make sure Hiroto doesn't get into the house, and that the door isn't locked. They also need to figure out how to get Hiroto out of the house without breaking the contract they made with the ghost. They can invite Hiroto in for one hour, but no one wants to come inside. So they need to call for an "ambu lance" to save Sota's life. They don't know what's going on, so they call for ambu lances too. Okay, now we get to the part where we're going to ask Hiroto and Nozomi what they heard from Yuina chan. Yuina was the only person who wanted to remarry, and she made the wish that her par-ents would re-marry.
