Everyone is back at the shrine, except for Hiroshi and Aono. Hiroshi asks Aono if he's trying to go back to school. Aono tells him to go inside, but Hiroshi refuses to let him in. He wants to know why everyone has disappeared, and Hiroshi says it's his fault for giving him his eyes, but if he hadn't, everyone would've died. He's sorry, but he doesn't know why they're all gone. He says it feels different to be in another person's house than it does in his own, and he can't believe that they've all disappeared. He also says that he hasn't spoken to fujimoto in a long time, and that he'd like to go out with him and Yuri, but that they haven't yet been granted entrance to the shrine. He thinks they'll be able to enter through the shrine gates, which are locked. He tells Aono that he has other things to worry about, like whether or not Hiroshi will marry Nozomi, and if so, what he wants her to do with him. He asks if he can hear him, and she says yes.
