In this chapter's opening scene, we are introduced to a young girl named Yuri, who has just returned from a trip with her family. Yuri tells her family that she looks the same as the girl in the dream, and that her face is the size of hers. She tells Yuri that she will teach her how to glue her eyelids when she gets to middle school so that she won't have to worry about getting hit in the face with a pencil or a pencil case. When Yuri asks where she is, Yuri replies that she is in her room, and she tells her that she always wanted time to herself. She asks Yuri if she has anything else to talk about, and Yuri responds that she does, and then Yuri says that she's ugly, because she is a member of the family, and they're going to tell her the truth. She says that her family will tell the truth to her, but that she doesn't want Yuri to hear it, so she says she looks terrible in makeup, even though she wears makeup, and will never be as beautiful as her sister. She tries to force her way into the room, but Yuri refuses to open the door, and when she tries to slam the door shut, she is met with a "shake shake calle" . She wants to know why she can't just give up, and why she wants to see her failed so badly. She opens the door and tries to shake Yuri's hand, but he refuses to show her, saying that he's not wearing makeup, but is just trying to shake her hand. He says that if she listens to him,
