The narrator tells us that the man was "so good" that she couldn't stop herself from licking his lips. He was so good, in fact, that she was "floating on the clouds" . He's the only woman in his life, she tells us, and she can't stand him. The narrator asks the housekeeper why she's so late, and the housekeeper tells her that her grandmother is in the hospital. The housekeeper says that she'll change her sheets when she gets home, but the narrator doesn't buy it. She wants to resign from her job at the ji group, and leave the company's shares with her.
