We learn that wendy has been waiting for her husband to come home for dinner for three years, and that she has even been diagnosed with stomach cancer because she ate her dinner that night because it was served by her. Wendy tells us that for the past three years she has been constantly being called a "bitch," a "slut," and a "whore" by everyone around her. She has no time to worry about the people who are criticizing her, and she has only one goal in life: to love a guy named nick lu. She says that from now on, she will only live her life as a single person, and no one will ever call her a "girl" who cares about her all the time.
