The guy smells exactly like the smell of the crime scene. He's following ava, and he's probably trying to get her. The guy runs away, and the cat chases after him. The cat is so freaked out by the smell that he doesn't know what to do. He asks the guy who stopped him why he was stopped. He wants to know why the guy is doing this to him. He screams, "blood! I want blood!" and the guy says they did the best they could. They wake up and say they're sorry.
