In this chapter, we learn that the family's new casino has just opened across the street, and that Shmoop has been invited to stay at the new place. He tells the family that he's looking for "personal bodyguards" to take over the place, but Shmooper isn't having any of it. He wants to stay in his own room. Shmoopers are all "arrogant" and "selfish" and Shmoops says that he already has a room arranged for him in the new building, and he'll be staying with his brother-in-law, who is also his personal bodyguard.
