About This Chapter
In this chapter, the narrator tries to convince the audience that he's not bragging about his success in English. He's just trying to make a point. He tells the audience to keep their voices down and not to make fun of him. He also tells them that they're not the only ones who've been bragging about their success in the English language. They've all heard it before, and they all think that the narrator is bragging about it. The narrator doesn't care, he just wants to be heard. He asks the audience if they think that he should be acting in the play they've just seen. The audience is shocked at the idea of him acting in a play in English, but the narrator points out that the play is about a girl who's been rejected by everyone else in the world. He wants to find the girl who can make him crazy, and he wants her to be someone he respects and admires. He says that he was forbidden to talk about this when he was a kid, but now he'd like to find someone like that. He thinks that the girl should be able to make him "crazy" because she's an amazing person in her field. But what if the girl isn't able to appreciate the beauty of her field because she has to compete with him for his attentions? The narrator says that if he can't find the perfect girl, then he'll never find the ideal girl. He adds that he has a chance to see the girl in thousands of people, so he can see that she has an amazing field. He can choose between the girl and the man, but he
