About This Chapter
The piano boy tells his mom that she is so good at the piano that she should let him teach her son. The mom tells the boy that she has listened to him and that she will not go out to play anymore. She tells him that he should pretend that he is an amiable father when he comes home and that after he finishes the dirty work of the company, he will take over and he will be a "sissy" . The company is going to go bankrupt and the boy is worried that his father will be arrested. He tells the piano boy that he does not want to see his son begging him to play with him. He says that he has told his son that he will not see him again. The boy tells the mom that he and his father are able to speak their minds without pressure because they are from an "average family" and that sometimes they do not know each other well.
