About This Chapter
In this chapter, the narrator tells us that he's having a bad time at school. He's been stolen from his lockers five times in two weeks, and his tests and assignments have been published on the internet. The only thing he can think of to defend himself is that the mole on his eye is always drawn by his own reflection. The mole was there when he was a kid, he tells us, and it was there for a long time before he got to college. He says that a girl on the school's social-media platform, weibo, has been posting dirt on him every day with pictures of his test papers and pictures of all his other test papers. The girl must be from the school, he says, because she must have taken all of the pictures of the test papers that were shown in the news. He also says that the girl must have approached Yuxiyu to get more information about Zhang, and he must have supported the girl with his magazine, like going to a pilgrimage. The narrator says that he has had enough of the two of them, and that they're cutting each other's throats.
