The three of them are walking through the streets of the city when they hear a creak. It's a sign that something is flying out of the palace. Everyone is freaking out, because the curse is getting stronger and stronger. The three men try to figure out what's going on, but they can't figure out why the people are turning green. They decide to try a holy fire to see if it'll help. The holy fire works, says the three men, but it's too strong for them to resist. They're not slaves, they say, and they're going to kill them if they don't shut up. The bastard says that the demon king is still holding his sister hostage, and that he'll do anything to free her. He tells them to hurry up and leave the palace, because he's mad at them for ignoring him. He's also mad at the young master, who he says is "despicable and small minded" . The young master tells the three to follow him, and warns them to be on the lookout for the bastard.
