In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, a young man named "Rounce" . He is the son of a wealthy family, and he has been abused by his family for many years. When he was a child, the family mistreated his mother, and now that he has rescued her, he wants to help her. He tells Rounce that he will come to help him when he needs it. He also tells him that he and Rounce are looking forward to the day when they will have a daughter. Rounce asks if he can be summoned, but Rounce says that he is not a taoist, and that he would not have forgotten his face. He says that the summoning array of the old brother's sword is still effective, even after ten years of being maintained. He adds that he does not believe that a person like him can still be good at such things as spirit-slashing, scroll-of-white-silk-cloud, and so forth. He wonders if he is the only person he has ever seen that has energy immortal. He asks Rounce if he remembers anything else, such as spirit slash sword, scroll of white-silk cloud, or the fact that the sword has magical powers. He then asks if the hilt of the sword is missing, and the young man replies that he did not have time to look at it last night,
