The taoist is scared to death by the sound of the rumble. He wants to get the sword that the punk took from him, but he doesn't want to stop him. He says that the girl and the punk aren't cause for concern. He also says that he can see demonic energy, and that he'll pass judgement on the taoists behalf on the merits of helping a demon. He goes on to say that he ate all of the demon cores he took. He then says that out of all the souls, demons are one completely different than humans. He adds that all along, demons have been tolerant of humans, and demons have always been stronger than humans can tolerate demons. He tells us that he has his own method of feeding the demon within himself, and he says that this is the only way to beat him. The stick-release talisman is released, and the demon is brought out. The demon says that it has been feeding the core within himself. It can control the core, and it can also protect the core from harm. It's a good thing that the stick-
